What a great experience! For visitors to New Orleans, it requires a cab ride or Uber out, but you can only get a cab back to town. Having more time on the track, and the improved driving of the 458, I was able to hit between 155 and 160 in the Ferrari (saw the needle sweep past 155 before focusing on braking for turn 1). Went around 140 in the Gallardo on the straightaway. Hopped in to the 458, being told that it was faster than the Gallardo, and it would be best to do it second. So much so, that I didn't think about the fact I was in a supercar. As someone who hasn't raced on a track before, let alone a 1.8 mile track with over 3000' of straightaway, I had to focus.

First lap was to get a feel for the basics of the track, and the second and third were only limited by myself and the pro guiding me. After about 30 minutes of training, I hopped into the first car. Would have loved to follow that up with the Porsche GT3, but that wasn't on the plate this time. I drove their Lamborghini Gallardo followed by the Ferrari 458.
